2.8.09 TULSA -- Two Beggs women have been arrested on suspicion of raping children. Mindy Carder, 25, and Ashley Sprague, 21, were arrested on Friday. An inmate roster indicated they were being held at the Okmulgee County Jail on Saturday. Carder faces three counts of first-degree rape of a child under 14 and Sprague faces one. Jail records indicate that both also have counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Beggs Police Chief James Poulin told multiple news outlets Friday that the two women were running a sex ring in the small town and may have had as many as 10 young male victims. |
